Lucie Russell lives and draws in London.
Having graduated with a BA in printmaking from Winchester School of Art she moved to east London and completed an MA at the Royal College of Art.
Specialising in obsessive pencil drawings, her work is collected internationally, with buyers including Charles Saatchi.
Her work is inspired by visual saturation, the narcissism of small differences and the power of unconscious association.
As an illustrator she regularly contributes to online magazine Mono. The new printed publication animae magazine is out now.
She works in event dressing, using site specific imagination and construction to create 3d fantasy spaces. Working on the films Last Days On Mars (2013) and All Stars (2013) and was involved in the amazing experience You Me Bum Bum Train 2012.
Her spare time is spent drinking coffee, list making, dissecting horror films and sharpening pencils.
